Computer Division

The activities of Computer Division are detailed below :

                Computer Centre of DES is a technical division which deals with the data processing and its analysis in respect of schemes such as EARAS, NSS, VICS, ASI, Price and all Publications of DES. It also caters to the need of other sections of DES as and when necessary. All the publications related from DES are finalised in the DTP unit of this Centre.

            Computer Centre deals with development and procurement of application software, data entry and its processing in    respect of various Statistical activities being undertaken by the DE&S, storage of data base for planning purpose, organization of computer related training programme for the DES personnel, maintenance of hardware and software IT tools etc.
